Located in Amsterdam-Oost just 500 meters from Amstel Station, Hotel Casa was founded in 1957 by four students aiming to tackle the student housing shortage. Today, it boasts 518 rooms, with 359 reserved for students during the low season, leaving 159 for hotel guests. During the high season, all rooms are dedicated to hotel stays, complemented by a specialty coffee bar, restaurant East, and rooftop terrace Gapp. True to its mission of “supporting the bright young minds of tomorrow,” Hotel Casa also became the first Dutch hotel to achieve a BREEAM certification, earning a ‘Very Good’ rating for its sustainable approach.
