
Bouwinvest Retail Fund sells selected properties as part of portfolio optimisation

The Bouwinvest Dutch Institutional Retail Fund has completed the sale of retail properties in Gouda and Amsterdam. With these transactions, the fund is responding to changing market conditions and optimising its portfolio within the Dutch retail real estate market.

Gouda – Kleiweg 27
The Bouwinvest Retail Fund has sold the retail property at Kleiweg 27 in Gouda to the French investor IROKO Atlas. The asset is located in the city’s prime shopping area and has been leased to retailer H&M since 2012. It concerns a single-tenant retail property with retail space on the ground floor and first floor. Bouwinvest was commercially advised on this transaction by BRIKKS.
Amsterdam – Beethovenstraat 67
In Amsterdam, the retail property at Beethovenstraat 67 has been sold to Oklee Properties Property B.V. The property, located in Amsterdam-Zuid, is leased to lingerie brand Wolford. The Beethovenstraat is characterised by a mixed offering of retail, hospitality and services, reflecting the dynamics of the local shopping street. Bouwinvest was commercially advised on this transaction by Cushman & Wakefield.
Value creation within the Retail Fund
The Bouwinvest Retail Fund invests on behalf of institutional investors in the Dutch retail market. The fund focuses on leading retail cities and the busiest shopping streets (Experience), as well as neighbourhood and local shopping centres for daily convenience needs (Convenience).
