Bouwinvest Healthcare Fund buys existing residential care complex Residentie de Rijnvallei in Arnhem

The heritage building, originally built in 1852, is thoroughly renovated in 2025 by healthcare real estate developer AIG Care & Living, a subsidiary of the HCI Group. This renovation includes a number of sustainability measures aimed at making the residential care complex completely gas-free, including the installation of heat pumps, solar panels, and battery storage. As a result, the heritage building now meets all current sustainability requirements, including the CRREM pathways set for the Bouwinvest Healthcare Fund.
