Bouwinvest appoints new Director Public Affairs and Head of Marketing & Communication

October 30, 2025

As of 1 November 2025, Bouwinvest has appointed Nicolette Klein Bog as Director International Public Affairs and Anton de Graaf as Head of Corporate Marketing & Communication. These appointments reflect Bouwinvest’s commitment to international growth and its strategy to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders across the full real estate and policy spectrum.

In her new role, Nicolette will be responsible for enhancing relationships with the public sector and related stakeholders, including (supra)national and local governments, policymakers, civil society organisations, research institutions, and industry and investor associations. Her focus will be on advancing partnerships that foster a predictable, stable and attractive investment climate for institutional real estate investors.

Nicolette has played a pivotal role at Bouwinvest over the past twelve years, working at the intersection of marketing, investor relations, public affairs, and corporate communications. During this time, she has been a driving force behind the public–private partnership Holland Metropole. Previously to this, she held diverse roles at ING Real Estate Investment Management, a.s.r. real estate, and the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM).

As the newly appointed Head of Marketing & Communication Anton leads a multidisciplinary team which works to translate Bouwinvests corporate strategy into a distinctive market positioning. In his role, he shapes the brand and reputation strategy and ensures the consistency and effectiveness of all internal and external marketing and communication activities. In doing so, he directly contributes to strengthening Bouwinvest’s profile among investors, partners, and societal stakeholders. Anton has been with Bouwinvest for eight years, during which he has led various positioning, marketing, and communication initiatives within the Corporate Marketing & Communication department. With a recently completed Master’s in Corporate Communication from Erasmus University, Anton is well positioned to support Bouwinvest’s continued focus on integrated communication.

Mark Siezen, CEO Bouwinvest: “Our growth and performance ambitions require a strong positioning and an active dialogue with our stakeholders. To address the Dutch housing challenge, which is estimated to require around €400 billion in investment, the investment climate must improve. This demands close collaboration between the public and private sectors. With these appointments, we strengthen our contribution to that goal.”
